Designing a beautiful space can be difficult. Sometimes it comes naturally and sometimes no matter what you try it doesn't come together. Either way, a Mood Board will make you're job much easier.
The First Step: Finding a Program
Try out online design programs like Canva, Adobe Spark and MilaNote, They all have free easy to use versions. Canva even comes with stock images making it easier to start your vision.
The Second Step: Find Inspiration Images & Words
Find one room image that inspires you. Remember that it is only for inspiration, If your end design is nothing like your first image, don’t worry about it! it's just a starting point. Find words describing feelings or ideas you have, or even feelings you wish to be conveyed by the room.
The Third Step: Choose One Thing to Start With
You have to start somewhere, right? If you start with multiple pieces colours and fabrics, it becomes overwhelming. So start with either a piece of furniture you own or something similar that you want to keep. If you are starting from scratch try beginning with a colour you would choose for your walls, since they are a huge part of the room.
The Fourth Step: Search for Images
Google search images, use stock image sites or online shopping site pictures to build your mood board. Don't forget to add the name of the sites you use so you can go back to purchase the pieces in the future.

The Fifth Step: Put it into Action
Buy the furniture, or shop used stores to find the things you need. Don't be afraid to deviate from your plan if you see a similar item on your shopping list that you like better!
