Indigenous Art Exhibition

Visit The Woodland Cultural Centre for their exhibition, one of the longest-running multimedia exhibitions, providing artists with an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a fine art gallery setting. When you attend our Indigenous Art Events, you help to support our Museum and Galleries. As an integral element of the Woodland Cultural Centre, the museum collection is of national significance and is often the reference point for research and curation and has shaped cultural understandings through its exhibitions, publications, symposium and conference.

Walk for Parkinson's

Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario invites you to participate in our largest annual fundraising event, Walk for Parkinson’s! Join us at Mohawk Park. Walk for Parkinson’s brings together community members to support and raise awareness for those living with Parkinson’s disease in Southwestern Ontario. All funds raised stay local to provide programs and services, along with education and research initiatives for the 10,000 people and their families living with Parkinson’s in Southwestern Ontario. Come for the walk, but stay for the fun, entertainment, refreshments and social interactions with family, friends and community members!

Visit the Brantford Public Library's St Paul Branch Fridays at 11am for a free yoga class. Drop in to join Catherine Labrecque-Rowntree (Sacred Spaces) in exploring that day’s choice of gentle yoga, chair yoga, or even yoga out by the garden if the weather is nice. If you have them, come prepared with your own mat and SPF protection.
