Red

The colour Red might make people nervous when considering using it as a paint in their homes.
I’ve painted a red wall between two off-white walls and let me tell you it was so frustrating! Even with the walls and ceiling taped off it was still awful.
The woman I worked for wanted the wall painted red in her dining room, she told me that it promoted a feeling of hunger. I was a little confused by this, but after some research I realized it was true!
Think about all the restaurants you’ve been in. Most of them have Red, whether it be the walls, the seating or the décor.
Red is also exciting to our brains! It gives us more energy making it the perfect colour for an entertaining room. I would avoid heavy amounts of red in bedrooms or bathrooms as those are places you probably don’t want your brain to be too stimulated in those relaxing spaces.
So, if you’re thinking of having some red in your home don’t think about how annoying it is to paint it but how awesome your walls will look when they’re done. It will be worth the effort!
